10 Really Simple Things You Can Do To Help TUSC

Ask not what TUSC can do for you, but what you can do for TUSC!

So you've been thinking for a while, "man, if only there was a political alternative, espousing the political interests of working-class people."

Maybe you read 10 Reasons to Vote TUSC and now you're overcome with an irrepressible desire to help.

BUT HOW? Well, here are 10 Really Simple Things you can do.

1) If you have access to the internet, I assume you have access to a window. Stick a poster in it.

2) Everyone needs money. Even socialists. You can't run election campaigns on good ideas alone.

Labour has Tony Blair's blood money and more in case the UNITE union leaders wake up and smell the coffee

The Tories are accepting donations from the Who's Who of Tax Dodgers and the Green Party hold on £1000 per head dinners

TUSC needs the tenners and twenties from working class people. Its no bother, you can do it right here.

3) Come to a leaflet drop. It's easy. Hit up your local TUSCies, you can find them online wherever you are.

Ask when they are next planning a session. The chances are there'll be plenty to choose from. Afterwards, you can even go for a cup of tea/cream bun/pint at the Winchester.

4) You know how sometimes you see those annoying stickers on lamp posts? Well, you can order TUSC stickers here.

5) Do you have a job? If the answer is yes, you should have a trade union! Why not go along to your next union branch and ask if they want to support TUSC?

Some unions aren't so keen on TUSC, even though we support a lot of union policies. Some unions are still hung up on the ex. But we should encourage them to move on. There's nothing to stop individual members supporting TUSC- we do have the best policies after all.

6) TUSC's life so far has been confined to the shadows. For some reason, the national press have been less than enthusiastic about giving us air-time. However, this election, we are standing in over 100 seats, entitling us to "fair coverage". You could compose a firm but fair letter to tweet @BBCquestiontime, expressing your wish to let TUSC have some time in the sun. #tusc15

7) Throw a party. Invite your local TUSCies, invite your friends, invite your family, issue a polite notice to the neighbours (or just invite them too!). Charge everyone a couple of quid to come in. Donate the proceeds.

8) Every TUSC candidate needs 10 nominations from people who live in the constituency or ward they are standing in. Be that nominator!

9) If there is not TUSC candidate in your area, or if there's room for more, why not stand? What's the worst that could happen? Even if you get a small vote, it's votes for TUSC that might never have happened without you.

10) Do you go to a church? A mosque? A gurdwara? A badminton club? A zumba class? A crochet circle? DO YOU KNOW ANY HUMANS IN REAL LIFE AT ALL? If the answer is yes, spread the word. If you only exist on the internet, share this post. It's the least you could do.
